Hello my friend,
When trying to ground your identity in Christ, you may find thought patterns or behaviors from your past or with which you are currently dealing inhibiting your growth and development.  We need to identify those thought patterns or behaviors so that we can correct them and move forward in progress.  
This week we will deal with one such thought pattern or behavior.  We will be defining people pleaser, possible signs for recognizing yourself as a people pleaser, and a way out of that type of living.

Self Aware IS NOT Self Absorbed

Hello Friend,
Those who don't know their own history are doomed to repeat it.  Therefore, looking at your past to see what has been the result of choices made or thoughts that have held you back is not the activity of a self absorbed person.  Reviewing your past, figuring out why you made the choices you've made or thought the things you have thought is necessary - especially if you wish to replace negative thoughts with God's Truth.

If you have been feeling unfulfilled as of late due to a change of season in your life or a sudden remembrance of a dream long past but set aside when life got busy - you are in the right place.  I also propose that the lack of fulfillment is related to something much deeper than extra time in your day.  I dare say that the dreams that were set aside were done so out of a sense of impossibility whatever the factor or reason feeding that feeling and that fear of failure also played into the shelving of that secret goal or ambition.  I believe that when you build yourself a firm foundation starting with an identity in Christ, you will set yourself up to be successful and fulfilled in the need/purpose God has placed inside of you.
