Two More Potential Stumbling Blocks to our Walk of Faith

This week we explore two more common misconceptions that new believers may have that could possibly hamper their spiritual growth and development.  The first is that if we are Christian, we will always feel close to God.  The second misconception trap into which some believers fall is believing that ministers or life long Christians are more spiritual than they (or anyone) are as new believers.

Two misconceptions that can keep you from making progress in your walk of faith

This week we talk about two misconceptions that can keep hampering your walk of faith, especially if you believe you are enslaved to sin.  1) I can't be guilty of committing the same sin over and over again and still be a "good" Christian. 2) I obviously don't have the power to quit sinning, so why try?  You will be given scriptural texts that explain how you have been freed from the consequences of sin as well as given the power of the Holy Spirit to assist you in overcoming sin in your life.
